Default new, but not so new

Hey guys i am new to 3fc but not to diets, and weight loss. I am 29 and yesterday when my son asked me a million times to go outside, and continually said no, I realized the reason why. BEcause I was perfectly happy doing absolutely nothing. So after I saw my behavior and saw his really sad face, I decided to do something about my weight, and inactivity. Then I also watched a previously aired episode of dr. phil weight loss challenge and cried. It was like he was speaking to me. So this A. M i rejoined weight watchers and went to the gym. I did nothing hard, just walked and some weight machines and left and i really felt good.

And so far today we have been outside once for an hour. I also kicked the ball with him and have been documenting in my journal for today.

I guess the older I have become, it just feels like the less likely it would be to lose weight, but I guess in order to lose weight you have to "try" first and change habits or else nothing will be lost.......

thanks for listening. Good luck to everyone else starting today.

Good luck to you! I've been going for about three weeks now (but new to 3fc). Us Texan girls need to stay together, pm me any time.

I'm not usually this motivated, but while I've got it, I might as well share it -- Hang in there. Check the short chicks (under 5'2") thread for some advice I recently gave, it might help you, even if you aren't a short chick (:

Hey VannyPanny!

We have a great Weight Watchers forum here - head on over and check that out! We also have a wonderful 20-somethings forums, so you may want to pay a visit there as well.

You're well on your way - keep going and you'll get there! Can't wait to see you around!
