Hello
My name is Kat and i've decided to join this forum because i really need to buckle down and lose weight.
A little about me- i'm 25 years old and got married this earlier this year. I was in better shape/weight at the time of the wedding (around 198) and now i'm at 220!! I fractured a small bone and hyper-extended a tendon in my foot just a day and a half before my wedding (i tripped- i'm SO graceful)!!! Yes, i wore my super sexy 4" heels down the asle and danced all night in them (well, most of the night). I didn't find out until 3 weeks later what i really did to my foot and that landed me in a boot for 2 months. It was during that time that i gained a lot of weight back. And as of late, i've just been a slob with food.
I am really starting to notice the poundage as of that. It's really bugging me. Not just for the looks, but for the health factor as well. I am also taking riding lessons again. In my teens-early twenties, i was a serious rider and went to lots of shows. I mainly did two-day horse trials (eventing). I was in some serious shape back then- i looked hot!! I am getting back into eventing and i have my first dressage show next weekend! Eventing takes LOTS of energy/higher fitness level and i want to be ready for it. Next year, i am hoping to be in a good position to buy a horse.
I'm not new to dieting/losing weight. I've been on and off the bandwagon for 4 years now.
So here starts my journey to get in shape/become healthier.
