I just wanted to drop by and introduce myself. My name is Krysta and I am a 27 yr old RN working on shedding the rest of the weight I put on while being on prednisone for a couple years. Honestly I had never had a problem with weight before that, but it caused me to gain 100lb. I have since stopped taking it and am on another amazing medication for my illness and am in remission! Anyway, I have lost a bunch of weight by just going off of the meds, but it seems as though the last 40-50lb is harder to get rid of. I hope to find support here on this forum. Nice meeting you all!

Prednisone is a bugger for weight gain. I'm glad you were able to get off it, and so glad to hear you're in remission from your illness!
