Default once again, I am here!

I started my long weight loss journey back in 2004. I did pretty good and managed to keep off most of the weight (with a few small ups and downs) for almost 2 years. Then life happened, as it does. Failures, stress, lack of money and job, death in the family, you name it...and I gained weight back. So here I am AGAIN, on my journey to The Ultimate Goal Weight and to keep it off for good. I am now 41, in bad health because of my weight and I am tired of being sick and tired!

Support from anyone would be a plus as I am dieting with many obstacles.

Sounds like you just need a bit of a push and some encouragement, you've sure done well these past years! From what I have read and experienced in my own life I know I will need to stay on this forum for as long as it, or I, exist Anyway, welcome back!

Gratz on keeping the majority of the weight off that you lost for so long. I knew it could be done. That inspires me !!! I am so worried that when I get close or to my goal, I will rebound and regain all of the weight...

I'm new and motivated. I would be happy to give you a kick in the pants if you need one. And I may need one occassionally too.

I totally relate to your story and obstacles! You have landed in the right place.

When I found this site, I felt so battered and bruised from taking life punches in such rapid succession. For years I felt all I could do was take cover, hide and try to make myself feel better. Food turned into my medicine, my comfort and my defense.

If you are truly ready to come out of hiding, you will need support to transition back to life. This forum has provided that support for me and I am sure it will for you also.

Congratulations on keeping most of the weight off! I look forward to seeing you around the boards! Hang in there!
