Default Hi from Suzy2001

Hello all

Just had my 4th child 3 weeks ago (almost) and want to lose the baby weight. When I was 25 and had my 1st child, it took me almost no time to lose my baby weight. I just kept increasing my crunchies until it hurt whenever I got comfortable with the number I was doing.

After baby #2 I had to do Billy Blanks Tae Bo every other day (Boot Camp) and eat nothing but raw veggies (with lite salad dressing) for about a month to get back to my old size.

After baby #3 I hadn't gotten around to getting back in shape before I got pregnant with baby #4. I indulged myself during this last pregnancy and now have some work to do!!!

I don't know how much as I don't have a scale (kids keep breaking them). I think I'll stick to measurements anyways as that's more reliable than watching pounds.

I'll let everyone know when I take my measurements now and decide on goals!

Hey Suzy - I'm so glad you've found us.

Gosh, all raw veggies and lite dressing is a dangerously restrictive diet, particularly if you're exercising and breastfeeding...it'd be dangerous even for someone WITHOUT those added calorie requirements. Do you know how many calories you were getting a day? This sort of diet would be very hard to balance appropriately to ensure you and your baby were getting the nutrition you needed.

So, what is your plan this time around? You might want to check in with your doctor or a physician - I'm sure they'd have recommendations on diet/exercise that would help you lose the baby weight in a safe, healthy way. Stick around, read our Pregnancy/Nursing forum, and any other forums that appeal to you, and bring up your intended plans with your doctor!
