Smile I'm Ready!

Hi,
My names Mechele. I'm a mom of 2 boys and married for 17 years. After I had my youngest who is 13 now I was almost at my healthy weight but then some medical problems happened and I stopped exercising and things spiraled down hill from there. I ended up with a hysterectomy and some after surgery problems which ended up with more surgeries. Yay. But now I am mostly healthy except the extra baggage. I am soooo ready to get rid of this now. I tried accepting all this extra weight but it didn't work so now I am trying my umpteenth diet exercising and now I find my self here to get and give a little extra support.

I started my diet last month I have lost a little, But I am So Hungry! But such is life. So there is my story and I am sticking to it.

. . . glad to have you joining us. You can lose without the constant hunger, you just have to choose foods that are really filling withough lots of calories -- non-starchy vegetables and salads and fruit.

I have tried that Stayed away from all the yummy food that are high in calories stuck to all veges and fruits. I was even a vegetarian for 10 years. It just didn't work for me. I know it works for many others but not me. I have been doing the slim fast diet with out snacking for a month now and hungry as I am I did lose almost 9 pounds. I have 61 more to go so I think I will try to stick with this until it stops working. It is hard and rather depressing at times but thats why I am here. I am not alone in this. From what I have read in these posts and seeing people reach there goal and dropping so much, It is inspiring, this site is a blessing! I am sure there are others that feel the same.
