Cool new and in need of help!!

Hello, i just joined and am very excited but i have no idea where to start! i joined a gym about 2 months ago and rarely go. Lately i have been really into going and wanting to lose weight. I am ready for the change. I guess i am just looking for friends, advice, and how to use different things on the site.

Welcome to 3fc!!! Going to the gym is awesome What are your weightloss plans? They have all sorts of resources here- recipes, accountability threads, etc. I love this forum- it keeps me positive on days that I sooo need support! Wanting to be healthy- is half the battle! Best wishes!

hey there
i work in a gym as a membership consultant and i found that what kept me motivated was getting a personal trainer. I only see him once a week, usually on a thursday for half an hour. He helps keep me accountable, checks my visits, goes through my food diary and gives reccomendations on how i could improve what im doing. It costs me $30 a week but it makes a difference. Pretty much is covered by the amount of money i save not buying junk food and snacks.
