Hi I am new to this community and I want to introduce myself. June 20th I had a wake up call when I had a Dr. visit. He put me on high blood pressure meds and suggested I get those stockings to help with circulation in my lower legs. Told me to walk more and cut back my eating and that was it! I am looking for a new doctor.
I have been searching the internet and looking at different "diets". I started back going to the YMCA (started June 23) and I exercise every morning and 3 times a week in the evenings with a personal trainer (it is a group of us so it makes it really inexpensive!)
I am doing this alone each day and was looking for a support group - I found this website
I have loss 15 pounds so far and hope to lose 10 more by August 20th.
I am looking forward to making new friends in this community!
