Hi all I am new as u can see. i am 36 and live in arkansas. i have been dieting forever it seems like but have been dieting seriously since February, started taking adipex which worked for a few months. i am now doing it on my own. i have lost 35 pounds and i diet and excercise. I sometimes lose my motivation and would like any ideas u might have and a little push now and then lol any and all help is appreciated.

Hi Renae, Welcome.

I need motivation myself, or something, i mean to do well, but sometimes i don't do what i should i guess even though i think its right at the time i am doing it.

Does that make any sense?

Like today for instance, It was lunch time and i couldn't find a thing to have so i had a baked potato with 1 tsp butter and 1 tablespoon of cheddar cheese with a plain bowl of greens with olive oil and apple cider vinegar and a serving of pineapple.

At the time it sounded ok but the minute i was done eating i felt like, ugggh, i shouldn't have eaten the potato.

I had no way to go for groceries so i made do with what i had. I could have made much worse choices i suppose and tomorrow is another day.

I'm going to keep on going.
