Default New here, ... this looks like a good place to start
Hi Everyone,
I'm new and trying to figure everything out.
I chose a custom Avatar but it wouldn't show up. Don't know what's going on with that, but I guess I'll eventually figure it out.

I'm a semi retired woman in my 60's and have diabetes and an extra 100+ pounds that I'm trying to lose. There are so many forums and threads on this community, but I'm sure I'll eventually land someplace.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Today I ordered a Track3 calorie and carb counter which I think will help immensely as it stores everything for up to a year and you can download all the info to your computer too.
I always have trouble finding ALL the nutrients info in one book and end up with about 3 different books in front of me.

I exercise in a pool when I DO exercise as it's so much easier on my gimpy knee.

Hi Nancee, Welcome!! I know you will find lots and support and information here. Wonderful people!! I post on a site called 50+, the Golden Girls. It's a group of older ladies who are so supportive and, since they are "older" understand that it's a little harder for us. But we can be done and we're living proof!!! come on over and join us.
