Default Newbie saying "hello!"

Hi, I'm a former lurker-turned-poster as my lurking wasn't getting me the results on the scale that I was hoping for. I'm a first-time mom of a 7.5 month old astounded that this pesky baby weight ins't just melting away as I originally thought it would. I'll be attempting Weight Watchers as soon as my at home materials come in and I'm looking for accountability and perhaps a weight loss buddy would be nice too.

I've enjoyed reading the experiences of everyone on here and I'm hoping that I too will become a success.

Welcome! We're glad you're here.

Make yourself at home and read lots. Post so that we can get to know you better. And remember that if you need anything, just ask!

Have you found the Weight Watchers threads yet?

Why be a wallflower when you can dance! There's loads of info here but support comes with participating.

Thanks for the welcome. I did find the weight watchers thread and I intend to spend quite some time there. I actually already have and it really helped me to decide which plan of action to take, ie: WW.

I'm pretty excited to get started, I've planned a few meal and snack ideas and I'm headed out for my weekly shopping trip. It's a fantastic time to start any diet as the fruits and veggies are fresh and abundant so I've got that on my side.

I've actually worked with a personal trainer for a few weeks now and while it hasn't lowered my weight, it has taught me several exercises to be working on to target my problem areas. Now if I can just implement them...
