I'm sorry to hear about your ankle!

In the meantime, you may be able to help control your eating, even if you can't move around a lot on your foot. Something like calorie counting is free & very easy to follow. Or even just keeping more whole foods around the house in place of junk food.
Also, just because you cannot rely on your ankle, you may be able to build a little muscle in your arms & upper body.
