Default Introduction

Hi,

I'm Christina and I'm new around here. this is my first week on weight watchers and I am searching for some support and a few weight loss buddies.
I have close to 100 pounds to lose. I am hoping to make a lot of new friends along the way. I am married with no children.
I currently work as a phone operator at the local wally world aka Wal-Mart. I I am a photographer trying to get my business going. So the stresses of life has been getting the best of me and now it is time to make some smarter and healthier changes.

Take Care,
Christina

Hey Christina -

I'm glad you found us...you won't find a better community of support ANYWHERE, in my experience.

You may want to visit our Weight Watchers forums, as well as the 100 lb Club, a group of women who have lost or are on their way to losing 100 lbs or more. Both are great groups with lots of support and lots of tips, tricks, recipes, and wonderful people.

Otherwise, settle in and post wherever feels right. Can't wait to get to know you better!

so glad you're here! this is a great place for support, advice, and making friends! a support system is one of the most important aides to weight loss, IMHO. like the above says, check out the WW forum http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18. i like to post there as well as other threads throughout the site. browse around and find a place you fit in. don't be afraid to ask questions or give your opinion, or just vent when you get frustrated.you can do this!!!!

Please do check out those forum areas people have mentioned. I've found 3FC to be VERY supportive, and the members truly care about eachother.

Best of success! You CAN do this!

Hi,

I am a photographer too (amateur). I have been using it as an excuse to do more walking. I have been taking my camera out with me on my walks and and getting some pretty good shots. I am noticing things in my neighborhood that I never noticed before

Alicia,

Hi and thanks for posting. Once you have a camera in hand you will notice things you have never seen before. That's how I was when I started. I recenty received a dslr as a valentines gift and I am in love with this camera. It will make my photo shoots a lot easier.
I wish you all the best in your photography and weight loss.
