Default Looking for me

Hi Ladies,
I have poked around here before but never really active. Its hard for me I guess to do the bulletin board thing. I have such self esteem issues that I feel like others aren't interested in me. I am going to make more of an effort to get some connections. It has come to my attention that people don't like me and think I am a b-word! Well ok I can be testy. I am going to try to figure out why life is just so hard.
A little about me.. I am 35 and live in N Texas. I have yoyod around with diets all of my adult life.. I have lost 120 lbs at one time but have gained back half of that in the last three years. I know I need to not only diet and exercise and fix the weight but fix the head as well.
I am married for a year and have a 5 year old stepdaughter.

I hope to get to know some people on here!

Welcome to a great place for support (for everyone, no matter their personality ) -- Honestly, there are so many threads going on here all the time, it's not too hard to find a place or two to fit in. Maybe check out the ones on the particular diet you are on, exercise threads, by age, how much you want to lose, they go on and on!!!

Good luck to you -- I personally have horrible self esteem issues myself and realize that's probably 1/2 my weight problem but I'm working on it.

Hey Mindolla, and

First off, I know that struggling with self esteem issues can sometimes make people come across as not-very-nice...my personal theory is that people with low self esteem often feel like they are being attacked from all sides, so they tend to strike pre-emptively at others so they won't get picked on. Sorry that you are struggling with this...just being aware of it can sometimes help to curb the behavior, if you want it to be curbed.

Congratulations on the original 120 lb loss, and stopping yourself before you gained it all back! You know what you need to do, because you've done it before, so get on it! Whatever sort of plan you're following, we probably have a forum for it, so look around.

Can't wait to hear more from you soon...keep posting!
