I'm Christina, and I used to be on 3FC...back in 2005-2006. I lost 20 pounds successfully on the South Beach Diet and was doing very well...until I got pregnant in August 2006. And pregnancy normally comes with weight gain, but I did senseless some stress/comfort eating and not so much exercising, then got stuck on bedrest, and gained and gained and gained
My son was born on March 3, 2007, and I kept saying I was going to lose the extra 35 pounds I was carrying around, but never really got there because I kept coming up with excuses.
Now my baby is 10 months old and I am flat out of excuses! I don't fit into any pre-pregnancy clothes, and I feel sad about it, because I *could* have if I would have taken better care of myself. So, here I am, giving the SBD (combined with exercise of course) another go, trying to get that baby weight off for good! I am truly hoping for the best!
The basics on me: I am 29 years old, married to a truck driver (so that leaves a lot of quiet time after my baby is in bed when I have nobody in real life to talk to!!). I am a recent chemistry Ph.D. grad, and even though I am a stay-at-home-mom now, I am looking for jobs and hoping to land something in my field soon. For now, I live in FL and spend a lot of time at Disney World (yay for annual passes!), taking photos, mainly of my son, writing, walking, sewing, and digiscrapping.
