hi everyone, just joined today and looking for some support and encouragement. my name is shona i'm 25 and i live in ayrshire, scotland wth my wonderful fiance ross. not weighed myself in a while too scared - i think maybe just about 224 now and for a wee person like myself that's a lot - i'm gonna face the music tonight and go to weight watchers. been on a bit of self destruct for the past 18 months as far as my weights concerned and now i'm at my heaviest ever i comfort eat a lot and have been quite stressed over past year which is probably a big factor in my weight gain! it's a vicious circle that i need to break - supposed to be getting married next year but i've put that off for a bit because of my weight - no way am i going to waddle down that ailse! if anyone knows of any herbal tablets i can take that work it would be great to hear from u, thanks for reading and i will let u know how i get on at ww tonight. shona xxx

Welcome! I noticed our weight and goals are pretty close, so maybe we can support each other. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

thanks missingmyerica got a way to go but i will get there need to do it this time! i always think its gonna happen overnight but i really need to be realistic this time - i normally go for the all or nothing approach i'm either bingeing or eating very little. good to c u lost 5 lb already that's great and i will let u know how i go tonight with the weigh in x

I did want to say that I hope you aren't putting off living your life due to your weight. Congrats on the engagement! I'm getting married next October, and while I hope to be closer to my ultimate weight goal, I'll be wearing a gorgeous dress and feeling hot regardless

hi everyone, thanks for the support well i went to ww tonight and i'm coming in at 224.5 lbs what i was expecting but still doesn't make it any easier, at least i've made a start. your right faerie in what u say about me not living my life because of my weight - that gave me something to think about today, anyway heres to having a good first week, shona x
