Another Newbie
Hi,
My name is Anne. I'm just about to turn 40 in a month, and weigh the most I've ever weighed in my life. It's embarrassing. I've been married for 4 years to a wonderfully supportive (and physically fit!) man, no kids other than the little four-legged Shih Tzu named Milo.
I've been dealing with depression and anxiety for years now, have been on more meds than I can count. But I'm on Wellbutrin now and something else for the anxiety. Wellbutrin seems to be helping, albeit slowly, and I have noticed a decline in my appetite which I'm told is normal. Hopefully the emotional overeating will slow down now and I can actually lose this weight!
I think I have a chronic problem with candida. Not so much yeast infections per se, but chronic athlete's foot, jock itch (EEEWWW) and toe nail fungus. I think it's candida, and I think I need to kick sugar out of my world. But boy is that hard!
I'm glad I found this site - I can use all the support I can get! Any tips anyone has for getting on, and more importantlly staying on, this road to wellness would be greatly appreciated!
