I'm a 26 y.o woman in Illinois trying to lose some weight with good old fashion diet and exercise. I'd really like to make some sustainable changes. I recently put on ten pounds and I would like to take that off with some considerable interest. I currently weigh 160 and I would like to get down to 140 (I'm 5'9'' so that's healthy, I think). This is totally reasonable with a lot of work and discipline and, I hope, support. So...that's all! I'm glad I found this forum--there are lots of inspirational stories!
Yes, there are tons of stories and incredibly supportive people here, as well as a TON of information. With your current and goal weights, you might want to check out the "Featherweights" forum. Otherwise, just read and post and keep going!
