Hey, I'm blackmagicrose. For the record (since I always seem to have to explain this ) the name has NOTHING to do with magic or black magic or the occult or anything of the sort. I just really like the rose. The minute there are successful black roses (without dyes) I'm buying a dozen of them.

Anyway, to get back on point. I'm 22 and from outside Charleston, SC and have lived here my entire life. For as long as I can remember, I've been overweight and have been wanting to change, but I've never been able to continue with anything that I've tried in the past. I'm hoping that joining this community and seeing others strive towards their goals helps me continue on this new path of mine.

Yes I love black roses also. Saw some in a womans garden last year and she gave me a cutting. Will have to see how they do as they grow.

You have come to a wonderful place. Everyone here is supportive and caring. We understand how hard this journey we all are taking to a thinner, more healthy person can be.

Everyone here has their own little piece of advice or word of encouragement that helps the rest of us along our way when we really need it.

When you think you are doing this all alone. When there isn't a person in sight to give you encouragement. Remember God is right there beside you. Usually yelling, put down that candy bar.
