Default Hello - new here!

Hello All!

I'm new to 3FC, but not at all new to dieting. I've struggled with my weight for years, and am currently in need of some great support! About 6 years ago, I joined Weight Watchers when I stepped on the scale and saw the biggest number of my life...193! I lost 54 pounds over the next year using WW, getting down to 139. I kept it off (give or take 6-8 pounds) up until about two years ago. Now I'm up to 173 (despite finishing my first marathon in May ), and would like to get back down to 145. I'd like to try to do this without WW. I currently use Fit Day to track my calories (goal 1700-1800/day) and workouts (I run 3-4 times a week). Thanks for being here and for your support!

First off welcome to 3FC! I'm fairly new here too-I've been lurking about for about a month and can say this is one of the most supportive sites I've ever been on!

Congrats on completing a Marathon-WOW! I walk a lot and have considered doing a 5k-but am still afraid I may not make it--definetly one of my goals though.

Hope you find all the info you need here!!!

WOW! Congrats on finishing a marathon! That is incredible!

You've done it once before so I'm sure you can do it again. There's a Weight Watchers sub-forum here, so even if you didn't actually join Weight Watchers again you could probably get enough info from those folks to use the program if you wanted to. Or there's a section for calorie counting, and there's one for exercisers as well. Snoop around and figure out where you fit in best!

Glad to have you with us!
