Michigoose Here--I'm New!
Hi everyone! I'm a 24 yr old female from Michigan. I don't have any kids (but a 3 yr old nephew that lives with me--He's the real love of my life) I do have a small zoo of rescued animals here. They are alot of work, but I don't mind animals have always been my life. So much so my friends and family have deemed me the Patron Saint of Lost Causes (for the animal kind).
So here's why I am here. I have a lot of health problems (lupus and headaches are just a couple) and due to chronic pain and alot of real nasty drugs I have gained nearly 100 lbs in the last year!!! This isn't my first time I've gained that much in one time. When I was a kid on meds, my weight went up 125lbs, most of which I lost on my own, but gained back once I was on the pills again. It seems nothing I do is really helping...I just keep gaining but are dependant on the drugs right now.
I just know I'd feel better (at least somewhat) if I could get my weight down. I don't have much to start with, but one thing I know for sure is...I have a good sense of humor and an unbreakable spirit. Nice to meet you all!
