hi as you can tell i am new and on day 3 of the ir diet and i dont know how well this is going to work,,,i am already ready to jump head first into the window at dairy queen, so after searching, i found this website to keep me on the right side of the window---any tips would be great !

You need to try things until they work. There is no one plan fits all. I can tell you what has worked and will always work for me. My head is now in the right place. I have read two wonderful books, the first was YOU on a diet, which taught me about my body. The second I heard about here at 3fc, Superfoods RX. I will never go back to the obese person I was. Exercise is also a part of my life. I won't go a day without sleep and I won't go a day without exercise. I wish you both the best. Oh I also count calories. It is trial and error to find the right amount to lose weight and you have to change it up or down when you plateau. Have a terrific journey. I learn everyday and I hope you do too.
hi and welcome! I used to live in WNY, so I am aware of all the temptations! What I wouldn't do for some Bocce pizza!! And some GOOD wings (Duffs, Anchor Bar, etc...)! OY!! Anyway, those foods helped me become overweight and I'm just done with them unless it's a special occasion and then it's only a "taste".
Dairy Queen=Dead Quick. Back away... and go to Tops or Wegman's and get a healthy snack! You can do this and don't give up!
