Default Hello From Georgia!

I found this board while searching for Slim Fast discussion. I just started the diet today. Exercise at Curves, new meds and cutting out fried foods, sweets and red meat have resulted in a gain of 10 pounds in the last month and a half. So I see it has to be a real diet for me.
The new Slim Fast plan lets you eat so much food it's incredible! So I hope by following it and joining in here I can finally start in earnest on the way back to health. I'm here to give and receive support.

The only way to lose weight for me is to never go on a diet again.
I eat fruits, vegetables, low fat dairy in the form of yogurt and soy milk, turkey, fish, buffalo and cereal and tortillas high in fiber. I exercise and get plenty of water. I also count calories. This has been truly a lifestyle change in every sense of the word. Good luck on your weight loss.

Hi Erin! I'm from Georgia too, and I just re-joined 3FC today. I really loved this place but got majorly off-track the last year or two, so now I'm back with a fresh start.

So do you like the Slim Fast plan? I tried it years ago but it didn't keep me full. I guess it's probably changed a lot since then and I've considered using it as an occasional meal-replacement. Right now I'm just trying to watch what I eat, and considering I've been eating so badly until now, I think I'll see a big change rather quickly at first.

What sort of exercise are you doing at Curves? I'm doing exercise at home, treadmill and bowflex. Also lots of walks in the neighborhood with my family.

Good luck!
