Smile Ready to get healthy

Hi. I'm 29 years old 5'10" and 257 pounds. I have a 14 month old that I have no energy to play with and my knees are killing me. I lost 40 pounds before getting pregnant and gained 50. I have only lost the 14 pounds since then which is ridiculous. I'm started doing the Weight Watchers by myself 3 weeks ago since I'm not into the meetings but it would be great to get some support from people who understand. So there you have it. Wish me luck.

Hi,
I was reading your story and its soo much like mine..I just joined this forum recently too and am 29, 5 ft 5 inches and 177lbs. My baby is 2 1/2 years and I gained 60 in my pregnancy and lost it after my baby and then ended up gaining it back after her first birthday. No clue how it happened...well some clue!...anyway, I am trying to get serious now and get some much needed support ..we will make it to our goal weights yet and maintain it there!!!

It's so great that you want to get healthy for your baby! That's some great motivation. You're off to a great start already, too!

Default Thanks for the replys

Does anybody have ideas on easy dinners that my whole family can eat including my son. Both my husband and I have to do better on eating heathy because not only do I want to lose weight but my son was born with a heart defect that he has had surgery for but I'd like him to grow up eating healthy because he already has the one thing to deal with never mind all the childhood obesity. I can't think that being overweight would be good for him either. We just need to start now while he's young. It's so easy to eat fast food because he can eat it also. It's hard to find much I can make at home. He still only has 6 teeth so a lot of stuff is to hard for him.
