Red face Back Again... Again!

Hi everyone! I've been a member here for ages and you all really helped me lose weight the first time around. Then I became happy with my weight and stopped, so of course I gained a lot of it back, and it's basically been a back-and-forth thing for a long time now. But now I have real motivation: my sister's wedding is in July, and I have to stand up there, surrounded by skinny ladies, in front of a very large group of people! If that won't get my butt moving, I don't know what will.

So basically I'm trying to be good. I'm meticulously counting calories, I walk a lot almost every day, and I've been going to the gym for its treadmill and weight machines. I'm also really looking forward to being back, and hoping we'll be able to congratulate each other on all of our amazing victories!

Hi Kate!

Welcome back! You can do this! We all are right there for ya, too! I'm headed to 160, too! It's been a seven year battle for me with about a three-year break in the middle! I know what you mean about starting up again. I did that many times myself!

There's so much to weight loss! There's all the emotional stuff to get a handle on as well as figuring out a plan that works for you and your body. It seems to me that just as every BODY is different, weight loss requires a specific plan that will work WITH that body. What works for one may not work well for another. Very confusing!

Either way, we are here for you, and won't it be great to see 160 again?!!!

Cheryl
