Smile Hello! I'm new :)

Hi everyone! My name is Amy, I'm 22 years old. I've got 2 beautiful girls, Hayley (4) and Riley (2).
I'm a young mommy, and I never bothered to lose my baby weight. A little over a month ago, I went to see my doctor and he put me on Phentramine (Weight Loss Pill). I've lost 11lbs so far, with only 50 to go! My willpower has recently informed me that I need a little help. I've been calorie counting, exercising, and being more active with my girls. I miss food! Eating healthier has felt good, but I still miss my favorites (ie: Chinese, Mexican, Italian foods.)
I look forward to meeting all of you! My goal for this month is to lose 5lbs, and to get off of those pills that I've been told are so yucky for me.

Congratulations on your weight loss so far AND also for arriving in ONEderland!

There are so many younger ones here that are moms with young kids. It's great that you are getting a handle on your weight NOW when you are young. You have your faster metabolism working for you!

You will LOVE it here! There's so much to read and so many wonderful people to support and care about you!

Hello AMYBEAR . . . . . . from a fellow Canadian. Originally born in Toronto but have lived in Nova Scotia for about 13 years now. As someone, old enough to be your grandmother, I definitely agree with Cheryl . . . lose it now, kiddo, because it definitely does not get easier as you get older.

Anyway, you have taken a really great step on the long winding road to better health and fitness by coming to 3FC and I know you will love it, here. It is a very big community so take your time and have a good look around. Don't be shy . . . whenever something catches your eye, just jump right in and start posting. You will receive a warm welcome wherever you wander.

hello amy bear im also new and also a mother of two and also missing certain foods that will be not named ha ha but i love the stuff im eating now (veggies and healthier foods) the key is to give the foods that u do it a lot of good flavor im looking for new recipies if anyone has anyideas

well ok enough for now hope everyone has a good happy low calorie fast walking not throwing the scale kind of day ha ha

Hello Amy!!

I just joined today!! I am still a little skeptical. I joined the Y at the beginning of the year and I have lost 13 lbs so far.( I think that I have gained a few back though...) but I am not so much saying that I am on a diet. I am just trying to be healthier and not be winded after climbing two flights of stairs. Good luck on your journey!!
