Default New to the board!!!

I am a mother of three and just started a new eating routeen to drop some weight, I just gave birth to my Daughter three months ago and have a 25 month old son before her. I wondered if anyone could share tips on what has helped them reach their goal I am wanting to lose 46 pounds and feel it is possible if I just make some changes I have recently gave up soda and started an brand cereal with snacking threw out the day to boost my metabolism and even started using skim milk are there any ideas you guys can share with me to help me out on this quest? anything would be greatly appreciated p.s I'm trying to cut back on fast food but I'm just having a problem with making healthy meals that dont to to much effort to complete.

So happy to have you a part of 3FC. A great group of people who have truly made a difference for me since I've joined and I'm sure you'll find the same!

Sounds like you're making good starting steps to get healthier. Just keep it up and you'll succeed.

Browse around the boards some more and get a feel for the place and I'm sure you'll find that perfect spot to post. Lots of wonderful groups here.

I have a similar amount to lose and have found success with using Fitday to record my calories and exercise for each day. Fitday is FREE and figures out a lot FOR you. Here's the link if you'd like to check it out!

Sounds like you have some good ideas already! For me, I needed to get in control of the calories I was eating more than anything else. I found that I was eating MANY more calories than I THOUGHT I was eating!

Find a plan that works, and don't be afraid to adjust it if it isn't meeting you needs. I have adjusted many, many times along my weight loss journey and expect I will need to continue changing things as I lose more weight, too. The body is often resistant to change!
