Talking Newbi

Hi, I'm Kari and I'm new to all of this dieting online thingie.... My daughter and I have decided to take off about 50 pound each.. (she only needs to lose that much, if that, but I'm needing to take off close to a hundred to be at my goal weight)

Its hard for me, the only ways I've ever been able to lose weight is with an eating disorder and I'm really wanting to stay away from that...

Starting today, we're writing down all that we eat so that we can get an idea of what's going in our mouth...

Good way to start! Very smart. Do you have free accounts at fitday.com? Most folks who put their 'regular food' in there ... get a huge eye opener!

Remember that losing weight is all about eating less and moving more. Everybody can come up with ways to move more. Having a look at a few days worth of food logging (like at fitday) will definitely help you with the eating part.

And don't be a stranger! Come back often.

No wonder I'm not losing anything!! I figured that since I was eating breakfast, it was okay to be big... sheese... I'm eating over 800 calories just for breakfast...

bummer.....

Yup, that's a big breakfast! How about toast with peanut butter, and apple and a coffee?
