Hey, another new girl
Hi, first post here! Had a look round a few times and some of the pictures in the completed goals section have been really inspirational. However, I'm a bit of a yo-yoer, I'm afraid...
I'm 5'8 and a 20 year old student. While at school I was between 130-140 because of doing a lot of sport, but once I left (4 years ago) I went up to about 155. Since then I've gone down to 136 by successfully dieting and exercising, back up to 150, then back down to 140 this summer, before going up to about 162 which is where I am now. Over the winter I've been lazy and/or busy, and really need to get back down to being a comfortable UK size 10. I'm being a bridesmaid at Easter (and look fat in dresses!) so my target is to try and get down to about 130 by then.
My motivations are a small pair of jeans that haven't fit properly since that summer when I was 136, and the fact that my weight clings to my middle so a dress is going to look hideous on me at this weight! And also, I'm just unhappy with myself, especially when I see photos of how I look now. I'm not *huge*, but this is the heaviest I've ever been, and I need to stop yoyoing and stay down at 130 for good! By losing it 2-3 months before going on holiday, I should have chance to maintain the weight as well. Normally, when I've lost a lot, I've gone on a 2 week holiday straight after and put it all back on!
I'm not the most confident person in the world, and although my boyfriend says he loves me and thinks I look great whatever, I'm not going to believe it until I start looking a bit better...
Anyway, sorry for the long babbling introduction! I'll set on making my profile and stuff now.
