Hi everyone!
This is an absolutely wonderful site. I have gotten so much inspiration and motivation from each of you while lurking. Well, it's time to stop lurking and introduce myself to the forum.
I have committed to a lifestyle change and will get down to my doctor-recommended weight of 175 (and that's actually the HIGH end). I am accomplishing this by cutting out sugars, white starches, white breads, and HFCS. Basically, I am eating "clean" whole foods only that I prepare myself.
My diet is comprised of 40/40/20 P/C/F and I try to maintain a healthy metabolism by evenly spreading out my calories amongst 5-6 meals/day.
My exercise regimen is lacking a bit, but I just started working out this week. I try to combine a mix of Cardio/HIIT/Strength training, 5 days a week.
