Hi! This is it!
Hi Everyone -
I'm brand spanking new, here. My intent is to make some healthy changes in my life, and it's time for me to put my money where my mouth is, so to speak.
I have around 100 pounds to lose, but more importantly, I want to feel GOOD and be healthy and comfortable in my skin. I'm going to monitor my food by using a tool called "Diet Power" where I'll log in what I eat every day, and I'm going to restart an exercise program beginning with Walk Away the Pounds.
About a year ago, I was doing very well, exercising 5-7 times a week (I had maintained that for over 2 years) and was losing very gradually and feeling really pretty good. Then, I began having problems with my back and a pinched nerve in my neck and everything came to a grinding halt while I went to physical therapy to alleviate the pain. DRAT!
I believe that I overdid my exercise program with some weight-lifting and rigorous moves that exacerbated the problems I already had. Thus, I will focus now on gentle, but invigorating exercise to build up my endurance once more. I am also focusing not on a diet, per say, but healthy eating minimizing processed foods and emphasizing whole, natural foods.
Anyway, long story short, I'm happy to have found this website, and I'm inspired by all of your stories! Thanks for letting me be part of this. I'm looking forward to someday posting my before and after pictures!
