Deep breath... Okay. I can do this. I can do this with everyone's help. I mean, okay, I have no choice but to be in my 50s. But I don't have to be fat, flabby and in my 50s, right? I am never going to be small (I passed through "small" one Thursday afternoon in the second grade), but I don't have to be a size that makes me really uncomfortable with myself.

So here I am. Starting out, with 60 pounds to go. And I am soooo glad to have found this place and the support it promises.

Hi! I'm new today as well and yes you can do it. I firmly believe that because the only other option is the choice [I]not[I] to do it and that means you'll stay as unhappy about it as you are now. I can't bear the idea of going out to a club but I love the idea of this place - good luck!
