Talking Where to start?????!!!!

Hi

I am another newbie and just wanted to have a chat really about how people are losing the weight?

I am thinking that Weight Watchers might be the way forward for me but am so totally open to other suggestions!!!

I have also started looking into the pills, but am a bit wary as to whether they really work or if its just a huge marketing scam??? The one that I am thinking of using is the Hoodia Gordonii - anyone tried it yet???

Well thanks for reading, and if you have any advice please help I look forward to hearing from you!!!

Well...Weight Watchers is probably quite fulfilling. It's nice to count by numbers and it's safest, instead of calorie counting. Calorie counting can become quite obsessive. A number system is much better.

As for the pills, those can make you feel uncomfortable at times, and sometimes make you sick. I think the good old fashioned eating less and moderate exercise (30-45 walk at your pace) is the best way to go.

If you ever consider calorie counting, depending on your weight, try 1500 at first, and if you feel braver, try 1200-1300 but don't go much lower. You need 1200 calories.

The WW approach is good for some people. I have a friend and she really likes it. I think there are times when you can rollover the points you didn't use?

I think you really need to be careful of pills and supplements -- did you see this week that the Federal Trade Commission fined some of the biggest weight loss supplment makers 25 million dollars because of false advertising? They claimed weight loss from their products with no evidence to back them up. But the products stay on the market.

Story here: http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald...l/16387039.htm

Look around this site and see what the pros and cons of different plans are. Not every plan is right for every person.
