I'm Judy, from NY. I have roughly 90 pounds to lose, and I am off to a rough start with a heinous respiratory infection, and 2 lil ones with it too. I have DEFINITELY eaten less than I would have given the same situation a few months ago, but still, not good. Hoping to make some new freinds/cheerleaders, and do the same for others!
You have come to the right place! There are some amazing ladies (and gentlemen) on this site. I can't begin to say enough about the encouragement, advice and great tips I've gotten from my fellow chicks. When I came to this site, I weighed about 200 lbs. 14 months later I am 5 lbs from goal. I credit a lot of my success to my support systems and this community is definitely one of those support systems.

So I am looking around, and I did read the where do I belong thread, but still not sure.....I fit in with the 100's, the SAHM's and the 30's.....can someone point me in the right direction?? Is there a geographical grouping as well, like a NY group?
Judy -- Many of us have a number of "homes" here. There are no real geographical groupings (except for our UK chicks), but feel free to read and post in a number of forums! take the plunge!
