So I have come back to this lovely community for support & hope i can get control of my weight! I feel like i have been dieting all my life & since my boyfriend came home from the Marines i have gained...15 pounds!!! The hoildays haven't helped much either & somehow in 2 weeks i gained 6 pounds how horrible!!
I just need some advise. I have no idea what diet to try or stick to. I have tried no carb, mainly fruit diets, & lean cuisines and i was wondering what has worked for any of you?
I was also wondering about the scale? Should i weigh myself once a week? Or all the time. I am obessed with the scale! I want to get on it every chance i get!

I'm dieting as well but I am not following any particular one. I am just using portion control...measuring everything, and keeping a food journal where I write everything I ate, how many calories, when and I even plan out my meals...6 small meals through out the day and 2 snacks so I don't feel liek I am depriving myself. I also use the food journal to hold myself accountable and to track my weight loss. I have cut out alot of refined sugars, like little debbies and hersheys and 3 musketeers bars. I am trying to wean myselfg off of cola but its harder than i thought it would be. I am eating fruits and veggies in place of the sugary stuff. I am also working out at Curves and walking my dogs alot and starting Jan. 1 I am goign to start riding my bicycle every other day and I'm debating at attempting my roller blades again. Good luck!
