Default a Second Chance

Hello, I'm SC a 22-year-old blob who recently got a second chance at living my life. However, in order to do so I must lose the weight that has creeped on over the last 4-5 years, about 60 lbs. Unfortunately I am running low on ideas, information and support.

My story...At 17 I had graduated HS and went into the military. I dropped out of boot to raise my goddaughter, as both her parents were deployed. So for the last 4 almost 5 years I have been raising a very creative girl who is finally old enough to go to school. For Christmas this year I received some very wonderful news. Her parents come home Jan. 1 and I graduated college Dec.16. Now I would like to get out of mother mode and back into BDUs, and cross my fingers, look good in my wedding gown.

Up for a challenge and any ideas are welcome.

Thanks! I look forward to being a smaller me. It's nice to know I'm not alone in trying to lose wieght. I have a very skinny family who think my weight is my problem alone. I look forward to meeting new people. Good luck to all of you out there.

HI

I clicked cuz you called yourself a "blob" Not nice I'm 100 lbs. heavier than you LOL, so I guess I'm gigantic-blob heheheheheh.....

I just wanted to say first of all how amazing it is what you're doing for your Goddaughter. Living in Canada, we forget sometimes what a huge sacrifice a lot of Americans are making for the War effort, and I for one appreciate it

Good luck on your weight loss, keep checking in and let us know how you do! I'm hoping to get down to a 'regular blob" size heheheh

Next to my skinny family I look like a blob and I have an odd sense of humor. Its nice to know I'm not the only who can poke fun at myself.
