I have been in a struggle to lose about weight for years. I know it doesn't seem like much but as the years go on, it gets to be more and more. It started off with just a few pounds and then it was only 10 and now it's 15 pounds. Anyone looking at me would consider me thin and I don't mean to irritate anyone with my "whining" about losing just 15 pounds but I know that you will agree with me that this is the line in the sand that I must draw before it continues to escalate. I will be 55 years old shortly and it gets harder with each additional birthday. I try to work out at least 3 or more times per week on the stair stepper and the slant board but lately, it has been hard with the holidays. I am looking for someone who won't be judgemental but supportive.
Hi and welcome. Please join us in the Featherweights threads. We all have just a bit to lose.
Hi wd8lee! There are no comparisons (or shouldn't be). Fifteen pounds is a lot when it is 15 lbs you don't want on you and are trying to lose! And, unless health is the issue, we can only judge for ourselves what size works best on our own frames. Best wishes to you!
Hi,wd8lee! This such a supportive site with lovely people. You will find many with the same goal as yourself. Never think your goals are less important as someone else. Too often we compare ourselves with others. You will find the support you need here to succeed at your goal and pace. Many Blessings to you!
Oh, thank you so much! I feel so welcomed AND inspired! I am going to go workout right now with a much better attitude. This is the first time I have ever done a "blog" so please bear with me as I learn the ropes.
