Decent weigh loss for week one. It would have been more but I had to travel this week to Florida to accompany my daughter to college and help her move in to her dorm. Meals were a bit tricky. I had packed some veggies for the trip but it didn't last - and I had to rely on restaurant/hotel food. I ate sensibly and stuck to proteins and salads - but wasn't as strict as I should have been - but still glad overall that I lost weight. We'll see what happens next week!

To help with this week I did meal prep and made veggie soup in a crockpot consisting of allowed veggies (celery, cabbage, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc) in low sodium chicken broth and plenty of spices. It turned out well and yields about 4 servings, at least 2 days worth of the recommended 2 cups of vegetables for lunch/dinner. I also pre-packed dinner for 2 days - steak / chicken with asparagus and bellpeppers. I'm all set at least for the next few days!

Nope, I started IP back in Aug 2014. Don't like the food so we used IPA and I lost 102lbs in total. Fast forward to regain over 3 years, so I'm back at it. This time using only real food and the LCHF version of ketosis. Averages out to 3lb a week loss.

Day 3 today. Still excited. I've avoided temptations so far. A little light headed today so I'm making sure I'm getting my water in. It was hard to eat yesterday then I got hungry at night. Fortunately not voracious "eat my arm off" hungry!

I'm planning on doing IP for a couple of weeks then going IPA to help with the co$t (YIPE). I have had a hard time inducing keto by myself in the past, so am hoping this gets me over that hump and into the rhythm.

Thumbs up Progress Report

Hello beautiful ladies!!! Been a couple of weeks since my last report. Did not weigh-in on 3 Sep per my schedule, as the clinic was closed for Labor Day.

20 Aug - 186
27 Aug - 181 - Not as much as I wanted but I did have to travel to FL the past week to drop off daughter to college, and did not adhere strictly to the diet.
03 Sep - Closed
10 Sep - 177 -- 4lbs down from weigh-in 2 weeks ago, which means average of 2lbs per week - not ideal for me but a loss is a loss, and I can feel the difference in the way clothes and pants are fitting - definitely losing weight in middle area and thighs. Yay!
17 Sep - _____ - I'm feeling good about this next weigh-in. Finger's crossed my numbers are good this week

Hope everyone has a great weekend! If you're in Florence's path - stay safe and dry!
