Default Low carbs but made with wheat

Hi all

I'm brand new to the diet and have the chance to visit a brick and mortar low carb canada. They have a lot of stuff that appears to meet the requirements of ip alternatives but they also have when as a main ingredient. I see a lot of the ip products contain wheat but I'm wondering if products like low carb high protein pita is okay on occasion etc.

If you are not Gluten Sensitive/allergic/Celiac it doesn't matter if there is wheat as long as the product fits the criteria of low carb/low fat set out by IP. In fact Seitan - made from wheat gluten - is an acceptable low carb higher protein option for IP-style vegetarians/vegans using alternative products.
Hope this helps clear things up for you.
