Second week and down 1.2 for a two-week total of 4.8 pounds and 1.5 inches. Have a new coach and she suspects I'm eating too little. Therefore, we have a game plan for this week. So, we'll see. Next visit is early in TOM so, we'll really see. I'm trying not to have any expectations (as I tend to go up 5-8 pounds on TOM) l'll see what the scale, tape, and she says next week. Seems crazy I can be having 625-1000 (mainly 650-800) calories a day when my BMR is over 1800 calories and and I'm losing so low.

If you pray, please pray for me with this, please. Thank you.

Congrats on all the losses and sticking to the plan!

Are you drinking all of your water? Getting all of my water in everyday really made a difference for me on the scale. Never had as good of losses when I slacked on it.

Log your food and bring it to your coach. There were a couple times I thought I was 100% OP only to find out I was eating something I shouldn't.

You've got this. Stick with it! You can do this!!

Default Herbal supplements

Hi everyone, first week was good with 7 bls loss but my second week not so much with only 0.6 lbs loss I have been eating really clean, drinking a lot of water and doing very light exercises. I have been thinking about incorporating some herbal supplements to help me with weight loss, like African Mango and such. thoughts ?

Well, a week of not being strict (DH is on a special cleanse diet & regimen before he goes in for an exploratory on the 27th) and just eating what I feel like making for us. Too much quinoa, too much cheese and yogourt, fresh fruit too often. Soooo, no loss this week.
Yah, I know, not exactly P1, or P2, or even P3... more like Maintenance, and lo & behold I maintained, .

Back at 'er, now that he is off his special diet etc. I can get back to my normal food routine.

Hi Oneuh,

I've tried sending a message using the goolge sheets. I don't know how to PM you. Can you tell me how so that I can be added to the challenge? I just started the IP Protocol last Thursday.

Thank you so much!

I am new to the program like you Kayweight so please take my comment with a grain of salt but I would agree it sounds like you might be eating too little. I too, am kinda obsessed with the numbers and track all my intake on MFP. (I am vegetarian so I have to be very careful to watch my carbs with the dinner protein alternatives) I hover on the low end of the calories but make sure to not drop below 750-800, as it seems to yield deminishing returns.

I used a Keto calculator I found linked in another thread http://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/ and in the notes about the calculator it mentioned 750 calories as the absolute bottom calories, warning against starvation mode etc.

For what it's worth I have a restricted item almost every day in the evening to keep my metabolism up over night. I have seen modest losses my first to weeks and also just finished my TOM, so I understand wanting to see more progress.

Best of luck to you!

CenTxChck - Thanks. I have been. Actually, the body thing showed that I was (+14.7) hydrated, which my coach said was excellent and to keep it up. She did see all that I've been eating, hence she told me to start eating more. We'll see!

Maybeface - Thanks for sharing, that is encouraging. I was trying to game the program for the best results by having the minimum allowed and looks like it backfired. So far I've managed to have my restricted everyday since Saturday and have not used lettuce, raw spinach, or cucumbers to count for my four cups of vegetables. Congrats on your 7 pounds! Especially doing this vegetarian style that seems excellent to me for a couple of weeks. You'll be at goal in no time!

My start date was Thursday, January 14th and I came in at 184.2. Last I checked this morning I'm at 178.0. My current goal weight at the end of Phase 1 is 145 or that is what my goal weight is.
