I am using a mixture of alternatives and tracking with loseit.com
as long as I am eating with minimum carbs and sugar, and not exceeding my calories per day, I am losing! THAT works for ME THIS satisfying shake was 1-2 g of carb / 23 protein and 145 calories. |

Just a heads up, the pumpkin pie bars by Quest are seriously out of line with IP macros. They are extremely high in fat (new recipe) and are only good if you are doing (LCHF) LowCarb HighFat as a maintenance plan. They are one of the few Quest bars I won't even look at. Be careful as extra fat calories will slow you down in P1/2. Liana |
Hi All!
Just wanted to post that I found a new soup that I like. Usually I stick with Healthsmart Cream of Tomato Soup, Proti-Thin Broc N Cheese (although not as cheesy as its IP version), Proti-Thin Cream of Chicken. The new one is HealthSmart Italian Tomato Soup. I got it as a Nashua sample and I like it! With all of the soups I sautee mushrooms, red peppers, and cauliflower bits. Sometimes I throw in a bit of broccoli or zucchini bits. Sautee with garlic and black pepper. Then pour the mixed-with-water soup into the frying pan with the veggies It becomes a vegetable stew that is nice. Always add a bit more garlic powder and salt and pepper. This, with a green salad, makes a great lunch! I come home for lunch each day and can whip this up really quickly. I usually keep my chopped red peppers and salad prepared already in the fridge. |
Hi everyone! I've been going through, and have a couple questions. What is the cookbook that you all talk about from Janeva? Wondering too about the multi powder from Quest ... does it come with recipes, or how are you knowing what to do with it? Also, has anyone ever tried any products from Bariatric Pal, or tried Carbquick Bisquit/Baking Mix?
Thanks! |
