How late are people having their last protein? I had my last protein drink perhaps 45min before going to bed. Is that too late?

Teags - did you have dinner after spin? I think the concern is that you need something ASAP after working out to refeed your body and give it the protein it needs for those muscles that you worked. Off of IP the general advice is to have protein within 60 minutes of working out, the sooner the better. So I would imagine this would be the same for IP.

kimo - I did have salmon and broccoli as soon as I got home, I was hungry again! megan - I never eat after dinner, but that's a personal choice. I have my IP restricted snack between lunch and dinner. I may have a tea around 8 or so if I'm hungry, but I have chosen not to eat before bed. I know lots of ladies do though, so maybe they can weigh in! (HA!) |

Hi all - I did it! I HIT GOAL with a loss of 5.4 lbs this week (wow - I know!). Total loss to date: 114.6 lbs in 8 months and 1 week.
I am moving to Phase 2 starting today. I hope to drop a couple of more lbs in this phase before moving to Phase 3. I could not have done this without the forum. Thank you! |

I am down 4lbs this week and a total of 80 so far. I took some before and current photos that I am trying to work up the nerve to post. I look at photos of myself from before and can'to believe I looked like that. I was never that heavy in my mind. :o |
