Thank you all so much! whew. slight headache this morning but nothing too bad. lots of ideas here. But dumb question - is there a way to search on here? I can't seem to find it. I want to search for soup packet ideas.

Love the tea idea -I actually had some green tea last night which hit the spot.

Thanks again!

Scorbett, great info! Thanks for sharing. I didn't know that caff coffee doesn't count. I will have to adjust up a bit. I guess it's good that I don't seem to show any of the signs you mentioned -- it's interesting how different bodies are.

Smile IPeeps...love it!

I am diving back in today! Not looking forward to the first few days, but I do remember that after that it does get easier. I'm vegetarian, so always looking for new ideas for meatless protein. I will miss my beans!
Thanks for all the great suggestions on this thread.

I'd like to see more conclusive studies done with men and women, over a longer period of time before I'd say there's "proof" that coffee doesn't dehydrate. In my personal (anecdotal) experience as a heavy coffee drinker, if I don't offset with water through my day I experience MANY markers of mild dehydration.
It wouldn't apply to every individual, of course. No study ever does.

There's a "search" button in the purple bar toward the top of the page.

Of course not....but before we start saying caffeine doesn't dehydrate, they need to do a more comprehensive study - over a MUCH longer period of time.
