Steph: waiting for Christmas for a cookie is a great idea, there are always better cookies then. Lol The scale was up .8 today, not a surprise. This is also my eat every thing week which doesn't help. I have been good the last 2 days, hopefully the scale will be kind to me next week. |
I actually had a decent day for a change and got lots on my to-do list crossed off. Maybe that helped with the stress. That and trying to let go of stuff I can't change or control... Just felt better all around. Hopefully this is a change in direction for me now. :dizzy:

Want2b - I am already dreaming of my mom's sugar cookies. They are big soft tree shapes with green buttercream icing. omg. Well worth the wait!

Liana; glad you had a better day, I'm thinking of you! Want2B; Its great you recognize your 'weeks' of hunger. I have the same ones too and am dealing with those weeks a lot better than a year ago thats for sure! P2 is going well. I haven't been hungry which kind of surprised me as I expected to have a more challenging time this time in my reboot. I don't know why. But, its much easier when you know what to do thats for sure and when I may have hunger, what to eat thats OP and not panic. I am getting compliments on how I look so it must be working! Happy Halloween, my friends! Pretty good food day today, but the scale was still up 2 this morning. Off to Boston tomorrow to celebrate my birthday. Massage at a spa, shopping and dinner out. Going to worry about the Up pounds on Monday.

Down 4.8 lbs so far on my reboot. Woohoo! Clothes are feeling better, body is looking better already. So glad I'm back on track. Have a great weekend everyone!

Congrads Steph! Thats great! I'm in P3, starting today, so only a few more days then back to maintenance. Its been good for me to do a reboot and my clothes are feeling so much better. Yay for starting back on Phase 3, Hawaii. My birthday weekend has been filled with many carbs! I am sure that I will be paying the piper tomorrow when I get on the scale. Everything tasted pretty good, but not fantastic. It is going to be a hungry day tomorrow. |

Steph: I've lost 7lbs total on my reboot which was doing P1 for 2 weeks, P2 for 5 days and now P3 for 5 days. Wednesday is maintenance once again. I would've loved to have lost another 5lbs but I am very content with where I'm at and want to get back to my exercise. I have lost inches and everything is fitting so much better. I'm glad that I did this reboot, I felt like I needed something to help me get back into more controlled eating. Now, my goal is to not need a reboot, at least for a long while. I want to maintain, give or take a couple lbs. I feel much better than the first time I started maintenance, I know what works for me. Have a great day tomorrow Slip! You got this! |

Low carb today. Hoping the scale will drop some tomorrow. It was UP three this morning. It is TOM too. Taking a personal day tomorrow, need to do a bunch of stuff that I can not do after school or on a gov. holiday. We have prof. day because the kids are off due to Election Day, so I will not have to leave my challenging children with a sub. Steph, I eat Greek yoghurt, an Ezekiel raisin muffin and almond butter and every once in a while fruit for breakfast. |
Hi everyone! Three is not too bad Slip esp. if TOM is here! It's funny but now I can pretty well guess just by how I feel what I will weigh when I step on the scale. It's hardly ever a surprise anymore, (sometimes that's OK, other times, yikes! I know before I hop on that it's bad news). I hope all of you are hanging in there, it certainly sounds like it. :rain: It's been a dreary cold and rainy day here and it is getting dark so fast now that the time changed, seems like the evening goes on forever.

Most of the time, I can tell my weight by how I feel too. Usually, my ankles will be kankles after eating carbs, so I know that my body is bloated and retaining water. Couple of days of clean eating should deal with my UP pounds. Keeping this weight off is about being mindful, but not expecting perfection. |
Hawaii - congrats on your 7 lb loss. Good for you for correcting it before it turned into more. That's definitely the way to do it. I will have to be much more careful once I'm done my reboot.
Slipfree - I'll have to check out the Ezekiel products. I have some granola type stuff of that brand but it's pretty high in carbs. I think I'm just a bit tired of meat since I have to eat quite a bit of it at lunch and dinner too. |
