Today marks Week 4 for me!!! WOOHOO My total weight lost so far is 17Lbs, and I've probably lost inches but I don't measure myself. LOL
So for the last 2 days my Boyfriend has made me dinner and all of it was IP Approved and delicious!! I think seeing me losing weight is having an effect on him to want to lose some too. Although he told me he cant give up the occasional bowl of chocolate ice cream. I'm just happy that he's attempting this journey with me.
I weighed in yesterday and broke out of the 160's! I've been on IP since 6/25/14 and have lost 30.8 lbs! I have never been 100% faithful on a diet until IP and am actually proud of myself (for once)! Doing the happy dance today!
Hope you don't mind me joining you. I really need some support in getting back on track. I've lost weight before on IP & maintained for a small period of time before resorting to my old habits. My problem lately is getting on plan. I have been trying for a few months now...I'll do good for a day, then sabotage myself with thoughts of trying another plan (like working out & eating healthy like I did a few years ago). I just remember how WONDERFUL it felt to lose the weight, and not have the unhealthy cravings I have now. I can't wait to get back to that!
Well, I meet with my coach this afternoon (again). I'm afraid of the weigh in. My coach has been nothing but supportive. She is amazing! I'm starting right after my meeting with her. This time, I am going to up my maintenance weight from 115 to at least 120. All of my friends & family members have told me that I was way too thin.
I really like the idea of the bracelet for every 5 lbs lost. Maybe I will try that!Thanks for listening.

Congrats!!!!! I am hoping I break through the 160s at this week's weigh in but I don't know if I'm going to do it. My body is really 'fighting' to stay in the 160s.

I posted on the newcomers thread but wanted to chime in here as well. I am starting IP after many years of losing and regaining with other diets. I am inspired by the success I have seen some friends and co-workers have with IP and also everything I am reading here - especially those of you who have shared before and after pictures - wow!
I'm on day 3, tired and hungry, but I hear things turn around after the first week or so. I do think it will take longer than that to get used to not having a big serving of something carboy at every meal!

Welcome! I can say that this diet works when you follow it! I was having such a hard time losing weight until I started IP. LOVE IT!
It should definitely get better for you in the next few days. I found though that even after ketosis set in I was tired in the afternoons. Having the IP salt helped alleviate that for me. If I start feeling tired, I usually have either the salt mixed with water (which honestly is kind of yucky) or I'll just put it on a spoon or my hand and take it that way with a water chaser. Good Luck! You can do this!
