I had my 2nd weigh in today. I've been 100% IP Alternatives and lost 1.5 pounds this week. I started my period two days ago and did a lot of walking the last two days so I'm sure that affected my weight loss as well this week. Hopefully, I will have a higher weight loss next week. I'm just glad I'm moving downward on the scale. Any loss is better than a gain. Hope everyone is doing great on their weight loss journey as well!

I started on the 29th of June and there was no date on the sheet I was provided. I'm not sure if it's the most current or not? I wish I new. I'd love to get a look at the most current sheet!:o:o

Carrol

Hi Carroll, I'm in Phase 2 now. Moving to phase 3 on Tuesday (woot woot!). There's a couple of good threads, I'm on the iPad so I can't link them unfortunately but if you search for Life after Phase 1, you should find them. The latest one is called Life after Phase 1 Renew. These threads have great discussion on moving on from Phase 1. Post any questions in there and either I or one of the others who have moved on from Phase 1 will attempt to answer. The other good place to ask questions is the daily chat as it gets seen by a lot of people and you should get answers there.

Congratulations on your amazing losses! You must be feeling great!!

Rosie.

How are the June starters doing? Everyone sticking with plan? After the first week things have been smooth sailing and I'm happy to see the results on the scale and in the way my clothes are fitting....LOOSER!!!!

I was doing really well until this Sunday when we had family together. Had a big feast. I had a few dates and then it just went down hill. Ha a slice of cake . Today I binge ate Krispy Kream donuts. I want to kill myself now!!!! I have pushed myself back to square one! I'm sure I will pay the price for it :(... I am sooo upset and disappointed at myself. From now on I have promised I will not even sit beside yummy good and especially sweet stuff. Aaaargh!

Great job Kissi! Looks like we are losing at a similar rate although I am a week behind you. Fingers crossed for a 5lb loss next week. ;)

I lost 2.6lbs this week. My coach was descreetly asking about my TOM, my food journal and suggesting I shoot for 80oz of water a day. I got the impression she thought I should have lost more. But I am trying to be positive about another loss. 11.6lbs in 3 weeks is not too shabby. :)

When I quit drinking a couple years ago, I found it easier not to have the temptation around me until I was most comfortable with my decision. I knew it was the right thing for me to do because I had a binge drinking problem. I slipped here and there when social events came up that I couldn't just alienate myself from but I took things in moderation and didn't beat myself up about it after, I knew this decision was for the best.

I view this life change a lot of the same way. Avoid the temptation. Sometimes it can be hard, but remember, you made the decision to take the IP journey. Get back on the path and don't beat yourself up anymore for the mistakes, move on and be OP tomorrow and the next day and the next day. You can do this!!!

My second week WI got me really down when I saw the scale and it was only down 1.2 lbs. I told her I was following the plan 100% and she asked about my TOM (which ended up not coming for a couple weeks after that visit). She told me to focus on my total loss when those lower losing weeks come up and not to let them set me back. She says that some people come in and my lose a little one week and more the next week and it works in a cycle.

My coach tells me (usually when I make a comment about missing my cheese) that Phase 1 is not forever. Stick with it right now and the results will come and you will be so happy that you did. View the Krispy Kreme's and Potato Samosas as 'vacation food' and you can't be on vacation all the time, we have to work and make a living. Work and make that living!!!!! Enjoy vacation for a bit once we reach goal!
