Lisa, I've noticed you mentioned that you have cut out soy. I'm experiencing some stomach upset after eating my packets, particularly the soy crisps. I'm wondering if it is the soy? I've noticed that most packets contain soy, how are you able to avoid it?

I posted a list I created for myself on what to avoid in the whole foods thread.

I had to go with alternative products and stop buying most IP products. I still use the milk chocolate pudding and the potato puree. What I restrict is the soy protein. The Lecithin is very difficult to avoid but the protein is what seems to cause me troubles.
I also use Syntrax Nectar, Quest Bars (for restricteds), Simply Chips (another restricted - available from Netrition if you can't find locally), and a few items from Nashua Nutrition (mostly various flavor puddings).

It wasn't fun and at the time I was really thinking IP was hard enough without limiting my choices further but I have totally lived through it.

I also started taking the digestive enzymes. They help immensely!

My bust & hips are the fast movers. My waist had better get a move on or it will soon find itself larger than my hips Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but I would rather not have a diamond-shaped body!

schenectady -hang in there! Sending you and :

I knew the girls would be the first to go. Oh well. I didn't lose in my thighs either. Hmm. What is up with that?

They are really good. I was carrying it around in my purse while running errands so it got kind of broken up. But I ate ate every little crumb! I'm a sucker for anything lemon.

I have lost 3 inches in the bust but not much in other places, I'm finishing up 5 weeks tomorrow. I guess I've lost an inch in the thigh, one in the hips, and one in the waist, but 3-1 is scary lol.

On another note kind of a tmi note anyone have problems with diarrhea? I've had it 3 times now in the past like 8 days, I normally never have these problems. I'm beginning to wonder what it is...

Hey guys. Having a bummer of a weekend. Last night we went out and I wish I could re do it. We went to the perfect place. You got to pick your cut of meat and grill it yourself, you could add skillet veggies or mushrooms too. PERFECT for this diet! I don't know why I did it, maybe cause I was making the food myself and everyone else was doing it, but I slapped some butter on a piece of toast and ate it. I also had the salad even though it had balsamic vinegar on it.....my weigh in is on Monday and if I cheat I get kicked off. Today I was down -.4 lbs from last week, the lowest weight loss I've ever had. I was doing SO good. I am so so so upset

I know this is probably no possible, but does anyone know of anything I can do to boost weight loss or get myself into ketosis quickly?

Ticker looks good to me. Congrats on 20 lbs! Sorry about the big D. But you have been sick, maybe that has something to do with it.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out what is up, I'm having the same symptoms and problem I had Monday/Tuesday been beyond fine the rest of the week, in fact I felt great Thursday and Friday. I wonder if theirs a common denominator. Today I tried my Chipotle Ranch from WF and that's the only thing new... but at this very moment my stomach sounds like war! Couldn't be a worse night since I am boarding two dogs on their travels from Texas to their forever homes in Cali

Some of the WF stuff does that to me - I have to use very small amounts of the bbq sauce or it really is bad.
