I will try this, because when I am not on IP, I eat yogurt. Thanks for the tip

A product called Calm - Magnesium Citrate powder will fix up the big C instantly and has some other great benefits as well.

I'll sit back in my desk chair and enjoy the fact that I no longer have 70 pounds on my body, remember how delicious my chocolate drink was this morning and how amazing it'll be to wear a two piece this summer
I just want to tell you, we just returned from Mexico and it felt wonderful to put on my two piece, 30lbs lighter! Worth all the effort to follow this diet. You have the right attitude!

Morning all - from snowy Colorado. Roads are really bad so, since my agency has a liberal leave policy for weather I stayed at home. I will go out later and shovel. Oh boy!!!

I started a cleanse today - so it is good timing to have the day off. I want to make sure that I am not suffering ill effects of the cleanse on Sunday - as I have a Super Bowl party to go to. The people hosting the party asked everyone to bring an appetizer or dessert, they will serve chili. I emailed the hostess (who has been very supportive of my diet) and asked if I could bring a veggie tray and bring my own chili (no beans). I will also take my own dessert too. So, I have a plan - which we all know is huge to this diet.

Happy weekend to all. Go Broncos. (Sorry Ruth Ann and all you other Seattle fans, had to sneak that in )

Good Morning,

I have been following this diet 100% and am a little discouraged. Had my weigh in and had lost 1.4 lbs. this week which totals 10.8 pounds in three weeks on the diet. I started on 01/07/14.

Am I on the right track? Should I continue? I am traveling this weekend to celebrate my parents 54th wedding anniversary. So there may be a cheat but my intentions are not to cheat.

Thanks for all your invaluable information and support.
I read MUCH more than post!
Have a wonderful weekend

Maybe.... I feel like almost 40 lbs is still pretty decent I would say keep going! I know I will, it may just take me 40 years to get to goal.

10.8 lbs in three weeks is great. Your average is 3.6 lbs per week. Don't compare your losses with anyone else's losses.

As far as this weekend, make a plan and don't cheat. If you think you will want a sweet/dessert - take a bar or wafers. Take salad dressing you can eat (I always have a single serve packet of WF dressing in my purse). You have to have a plan and work the plan.

Keep up the good fight - you are doing great.

Isnt that one of the best smells in the world?!!! We had 3 king cakes and the week before, a chocolate cake to celebrate National Chocolate Cake day (who knew?). I count it as a NSV that I could walk past them, have my chocolate EAS as a snack. Even though I'm on P4, I know that I cant eat that stuff that triggers binges, etc.

I'm not a coach and don't play one on TV but a coach shared info from the manual:

Most people use 3 packets (2 non-restricted, 1 restricted) per day.

In the IP clinic manual, it's listed this way:

201-240 pounds = 4 packets/day
241-280 pounds = 5 packets/day
281-320 pounds = 6 packets/day

Of course, still only 1 of those is restricted.
This is pretty interesting to me because my weight started out at 378 and I've only ever used 3 packets a day. I lost over 90 pounds in 4 months but have had some joint problems about half way through that I still am suffering with. My massage therapist suggested that I am not getting enough protein so I just this week started adding an egg white per day. Hopefully, that will fix the issue but I wonder if it could have all been avoided with an extra packet per day since I started.

How do you feel about Garcinia Cambogia supplements? I saw someone mention them-I think its used as an appetite suppressant.

Same here. I started at 281 and only ever had 3 packets a day. Congrats on your amazing loss! And good luck with your joint problems - hopefully you feel better soon.
