Hello,

I know it's a matter of personal taste, but both myself and my husband, couldn't stand the taste of the chocolate Leanfit from Costco, but we really Loved the vanilla one, so now, I only buy the vanilla one from there and I buy the detour bars and the muscle milk light ready to drink chocolate shake.

I went to costco today and picked up some premier protein drinks. Alot of the protein powders and drinks were marked down 4-6 dollars! That rarely happens so its a good time to stock up!
I paid $24.99 for a case of 18

Since we are all newbies-when using protein powders-if you think the calories count is too high compared to ip
I just wanted to add-that I measured the scoop in my cytrosport and it was 6 tablespoons. Now I make my drinks with 4 tablespoons powder and I am getting 2/3 of the nutrition which means my calories are around 93 and my protein is between 17 & 18 grams.
this is more inline with the calories count of ip's dry powders-so I can then have 3 of these shakes a day. Hope this high math helps!

I'm sending my husband to Costco today to pick up some drinks. He is calling me from the store so he can tell me what is in stock, and what the nutritional numbers are - really hoping they have the Muscle Milk + and/or Premier shakes.

The best ones IP-wise are the Muscle Milk 100 or the 10 oz Muscle Milk Lite

Lisa, first, you look GREAT!

Second - darn! I had him buy the Premier shakes - I'll go on the next Costco run with him and try and get the Muscle Milk 100 or the 10 oz Muscle Milk Lite.

Costco is sooooo much more affordable than IP products!

thanks mcKaren, great idea to use just 4 TBS! I had forgotten about the higher protein/cal. It's a great product, esp for those of us with casein sensitivity.

By the way 4 tablespoons = 1/4 cup
So I just use a quarter cup measuring cup for my cytrosport

Fyi.
The 10 oz chocolate muscle milk light is 160calories 4g fat and 5 net gramscarbs and 20g ptotein
the premier protein. Chocolate is 160 calories 3g fat and 2 net grams carbs and 30g protein
I drink the premiers and my dh who is not on ip drinks the muscle milk light.
Both could work for il but I prefer the premier

Half of either would be closer to an individual IP pk in protein & calories
