I'm feeling the post-carb addict euphoria, so I was assuming I was in ketosis. Do you think the fact they sat on my porch in 10 degree weather all day might have affected them? Or maybe the massive amounts of water I'm drinking is making it hard for the sticks to pick up the ketones? Either way, I'm not discouraged...I know this plan works for me and I feel good. I guess I'm just curious what your experiences have been with them.

Ketostix are not reliable. If you want accurate measures, it is best to use a blood monitor. The monitor itself is not too expensive but the strips are a bit pricey.

I try to stay away from restricteds and usually stick to the lower carb choices of the ip selections. A personal call.

I found a computer on CL that I am going to look at tomorrow, hopefully that works out.
The Bridesmaid dress is here, and fits nicely (my chest has shrunk, and I've lost some inches, but I think it will need minimal work if any) I will post a photo once we do the final fitting :)

Thanks for the support!

How exciting! I can't wait to see you in your dress! Be sure to show us a pic from the wedding day with you all gussied up!!

Brought home the Salt and Vinegar Ridges today. Not a fan! :(

Also have a question about the salt. How much is too much? I use sea salt but haven't been measuring.

The Phase 1 sheet says a minimum of 1/4 teaspoon of the Ideal Salt with your meals. Some are more sensitive to salt than others. I don't use much at all. I probably use the bare minimum, otherwise I see water retention the next day.

Thanks Em, that is truly inspirational! Breaking it down into 10 pound increments is a great idea and I love the reward system. Do your feet shrink as you lose weight? Because I would love to have ten new, really expensive pairs of heels in my closet!!!

Yup, I did. Went from a size 9 down to a size 8. It took me a while to figure out that the reason my brand new (and very cute!) shoes were hurting was because they were too big. It was really tough having to get new shoes...really tough :p

I didn't like those or the BBQ ridges either. I thought I would - because that is totally what I would have snacked on pre-IP but nope, they did not taste good at all.

Tried the Proti Thin Broc n Cheese soup tonight. Nt as tasty as the IP version but I poured it over steamed cauliflower. I was able stomach it then lol. Probably won't order it again once I finish the box. O
